Here is Liam Sage feeding a giraffe at Desert Springs Living Zoo. And boy do these guys have an appetite! They spend most of their time eating, and can guzzle up to 45kg of leaves and twigs a day! They only drink once every few days sonce they get their water from the leaves.

Liam Sage visited the Air museum and talked to an Air Force Fighter plane pilot Veteran and was given a picture of "skipper" from the movie Planes over Memorial weekend. All the Veterans were very impressed with his knowledge of old fighter aircraft.

Madison Tidwell is in the track summer camp. Watch her form - she is in the purple shirt. Look at next spotlight to see her up close.

It sure does look like she is having a great time! Madison Tidwell will be in Kindergarten next year. Have a great summer Madison and keep moving!

Matthew Tidwell is also participating in Track Summer Camp this summer. He is practicing landing the long jump.

Hanna-Shau'rei did will at the rabbit showmanship and made it to the Small Animal Round Robin. Animal top showman competed showing each small animal. She showed a rabbit, a chicken, a guinea pig and a dog competing in Novice age division. She was named the Small Animal Master Showman Novice 2022!

Cody Bowdoin, 1st grader this year, participated in the exploration age Bernalillo 4H county fair last week. He showed his horse on Saturday. and had a lot of fun.

Cody Bowdoin also showed his dog Tuesday morning, July 26, , and helped his sister show her goats on Wednesday morning, July 27. He is looking sharp and at the ready!

Cody also showed his sister’s pig on Wednesday night. He had a lot of fun and is excited to do it all again next year! Way to go Cody!!!

Hanna-Shau'rei's Duded Up Denim purse won 1st place at the County Fair making her eligible to advance to the State Fair. It just happens that she won 1st place at the State Fair at her age category as well. We all are excited and proud!
