
The Torrance County Spelling Bee took place on January 24th. James Salerno of Moriarty Middle School took 1st place and will represent MESD and Torrance County at the state spelling bee! Congrats to all who participated. MMS was represented by spellers James Salerno (1st place), Andrew Siefkes (4th place), Baylee Lane and MacKenzie Horner. These 4 represented MMS incredibly well. Great job!

MESD will be on a two hour delay today, Monday, January 8th.

MESD will be on a Remote Learning Day for Friday, December 15th. This decision took into consideration the amount of moisture all of the District received and driving concerns including potentially icy conditions and areas that will have a large amount of mud. Thank you for your continued support of the Moriarty-Edgewood School District.

Congratulations to all basketball teams that competed in the MESD middle school tournament this past weekend. Special shout out to MMS 8th grade boys who placed 2nd in the tournament, falling to Belen in the championship round. Great job ALL MMS basketball teams!

I had the pleasure of being a narrator for last night's band concert and I had a blast taking part and seeing our students perform. I was blown away by both the MMS advanced and beginner bands! Great job everyone!



Thank you to all of the adults and family members who joined us for Thanksgiving lunch. We had nearly 50 guests join us! Thanks to the MHS Football team for coming and serving lunch! We look forward to even more people joining us for next year's Thanksgiving lunch!
