
MMS: Good morning everyone! It is time for the MESD Truck Raffle. MMS athletes will be required to sell a book of 5 raffle tickets. Tickets are $10 a piece. Once the book has been sold, the ticket stubs and money need to be turned into either Ms. Sommer or Ms. Sarah in the office. These tickets are being distributed to athletes today so families be on the lookout for them when your student athletes get home. Have a great day everyone!

MMS: Good morning everyone. MMS Track kicks off today. Practice is after school until 5 pm. Please ensure that you have all athletic packet and physical completed! We now have baseball, track and softball all going. The end of the 3rd quarter grading period is approaching. The last day of the grading period is March 7th. Please check with your students about their grades! Get all missing work submitted! On March 4th, 8th grade students will visit Moriarty High School for 8th grade extravaganza. Students will tour the campus and see the various electives that will be available to them next year when they are freshmen. Thanks for your time, have a great week everyone!

Moriarty-Edgewood Schol District will be closed on Monday, February 17th, in observance of Presidents' Day. Students will return to class on Tuesday, February 18th.

MMS: Good morning everyone! Just sharing some information for the next week. Progress reports are going out tomorrow (02/07) so be on the lookout for those. We have a Valentine Dance next Thursday during 6th & 7th periods. We are using the same eligibility criteria we have used all year. Students must not have any behavioral referrals in February and can't have any Fs. We will check this criteria Thursday morning. Please encourage your students to submit all missing work! Moriarty Middle School was placed into a shelter in place from 10:55 am to 11:39 am, today, Monday, February 3rd for a non-emergency situation. Classroom instruction continued in all classrooms. Students were safe and accounted for and were never under any threat. Those students with A Lunch have had their lunch extended so that they are afforded their regular ½ hour for lunch. Thank you for your understanding and support.

MMS: Good morning everyone! This is just to remind you that we have the MMS Science Fair that will be up and on display tomorrow, 01/31, after school. 7th and 8th grade Science Fair projects will be on display in the gym, after school until 5:15 pm. Stop in and see the incredible work that our 7th and 8th graders have put together. MMS: Greetings all! It's the last week of January.....already! We have basketball games today and Thursday! The basketball seasons are winding down. The MMS Science Fair will be held on Friday, Jan 31st, weather permitting of course! Families please join us in the gym after school on Friday until 5:15 pm. The 7th and 8th grade science fair projects will be set up and available for everyone to come through and look at them. If weather causes changes to any of the science fair we will communicate through here. Another heads up, we have K-8 Parent Teacher Conferences on Feb 13th until 7 pm and until 11:45 on Friday, Feb 14th. If you would like to schedule a conference, please call the office. MMS: Good morning! Just a couple of reminders from MMS. 1st, there is no school on Monday, Jan. 20th in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King holiday. 2nd, families with 7th and 8th graders, the Science Fair projects are due Jan. 31st! Let's make sure that we are working on and completing those science fair projects! We will set them up in our gym so everyone can walk through and see the projects displayed after they have been graded and judged. This has become an awesome tradition at MMS so let's see those incredible science minds at work! Have a safe weekend and stay warm, we are forecasted for some really cold temps!

With an increase in illness, just a reminder to keep students home if they present with symptoms of illness. If your child has a fever, persistent cough, vomiting, or rash, keep them home. Please help us keep all students and staff healthy and safe!
